The Mean Arterial Pressure

Mean arterial pressure = (cardiac output x systemic vascular resistance) + central venous pressure The systolic pressure indicates the arterial pressure resulting from the ejection of blood during ventricular contraction, whereas the diastolic pressure represents the arterial pressure of blood during ventricular relaxation.
